New Focus: Christian Foundation

It has been a long time (~7 month) since my last article post in April where I started writing wiki entries on “Did God lie”. From the beginning, I knew that addressing this topic comprehensively would require a significant investment of time, especially since the study involves reading and examining Scripture from cover to cover. Still, I felt it was worthwhile to begin the journey.

Update on “Did God Lie”

Progress has admittedly been slow. So far, I have only completed a full review of Genesis and a small portion of Exodus. For those interested, you can read the related entries at “Did God lie”.

Aside from one case (Does Exodus contradict History?), most instances that initially seemed to depict God as lying can be reasonably explained. However, it is important to emphasize that my work so far barely scratches the surface.

Pivoting to Christian Foundations

Recently, I’ve come to realize something important in my own spiritual walk: I lack a strong, structured, scriptural grounding for many of the foundational beliefs I hold. These include doctrines like the Holy Trinity, salvation through faith and authority of Scripture.

This realization led me to rethink my immediate priorities. While the “Did God lie?” project remains valuable—and I fully intend to continue it—I believe it is equally, if not more, important to first establish a solid theological foundation.
